主讲人介绍：李雨生, 同济大学数学系教授 (二级）， 博士生导师，国家精品课程高等数学负责人，数学博士后流动站站长；上海市学位办评议组成员，中国数学会组合和图论专业委员会常务理事，上海市数学会常务理事，上海市工业及应用数学学会常务理事。1996年6月获美国Memphis大学博士学位，博士学位论文研究Ramsey函数的渐近性.。一直得到国家自然科学科学基金面上项目和重点项目资助。曾先后任教于安徽师范大学和河海大学。主要研究图论中的极值问题，特别是Ramsey理论及极值图的结构，以及相关领域如随机图论方法, 极值图的代数构造方法。有结果成为 Bollobás 所著研究生教材 Modern Graph Theory(Springer) 中定理；188比分直播经典 Ramsey 上界的估计被Chung和Graham等人写入Erdos on Graphs，被说成是这方面当前最好的上界；部分解决了Erdos的一个猜想。论文在JCTB发表后，成为该刊当年Most downloaded articles 之一。

内容介绍：This talk focuses on the two most important Ramsey numbers, namely, Ramsey numbers and van der Waerden numbers, Which are the smallest integers such that the described structures appear for graphs and integers, respectively. We will report the new progress and results on the two topics including ours with new ideas and methods in the proofs.
